Domain Name Information
Looking in the domain name records for this pharmacy shows that they haven’t been in business for long. They were only registered last month, and more short-lived drugstores are more likely to be a scam in our experience.
They are also using a domain privacy service to make sure that their contact information and name aren’t found in the records. This is something frequently associated with unreliable scam pharmacies, though it can be used by reputable businesses as well.
Business Profile
Searching through the store we are unable to find the business name or address. This is a common problem with online pharmacies that are looking to rip off their customers, because, naturally, they don’t want you or the authorities to know who they are. This makes buying from this pharmacy a bigger risk than it should be.
Regulatory Approvals
Regulatory seals on an online drugstore can show that they are dispensing medications in a reliable way. This store does have regulatory seals on their pages. There are, however, a few problems with the seals that they display.
They have seals which appear to be from both Canadian regulatory organizations and one from the US.
There is a logo that seems to indicate that the drugs are made in the USA, though the site doesn’t confirm this anywhere else. The “CPA Approved” seal may look reassuring but we have seen it many times before and it doesn’t appear to be from a genuine regulatory association.
It also isn’t possible to click on any of these seals to check that they are valid. When we go to the CIPA website and check, we can see that they aren’t regulated as they claim.
With them using the regulatory seal from CIPA fraudulently, it is likely that they aren’t regulated by any of the organizations they claim. It also shows that they are willing to lie to their customers and not a good sign of how this pharmacy operates.
Medications Sold
They sell generic and brand pills at low prices. They don’t enlighten us as to where they are dispensed from, however, and this indicates a risk.
Since we don’t know where this business is located or where the drugs are dispensed from it is impossible for us to check whether the meds are being dispensed by people correctly qualified to do so.
It also increases the risks that the pills they sell are going to be low-quality which could contain the wrong ingredients.
Payment Methods
The site is secure allowing you to enter your financial and personal information without the risk of it being stolen as you use the site. They let you make payment via the following:
- Visa
- Mastercard
Shipping
Shipping is going to cost you either $19.95 for regular mail or $30 for EMS. These prices are higher than we normally find for stores like this, however. Regular shipping is expected to take 2 to 3 weeks and EMS is said to take 7 to 10 business days to arrive.
MedMarketShop.com Reviews
They have a page full of really great MedMarketShop.com reviews. Everyone who has reviewed the business gives them either 4 or 5 stars, which seems great.
However, when looking through the feedback there is an obvious problem. As we saw earlier, the domain name was registered last month, but all of the testimonials are from 2017 or 2018. These can’t be genuine customer reviews as they were written before the store was even created.
Conclusion
Our look into the details of what this pharmacy offers, shows them to be happy to lie to their customers. They have fake regulation and fake customer feedback. They also fail to tell us who they are or where they are located. On top of this we don’t know where the pills are from and this means that they are likely to be low-quality pills.
