Reviews – Hiding From Customers

common view is an online pharmacy which claims to have been in business since 2000. In fact, they claim to be the first Canadian pharmacy site to bring cheaper drugs to Americans. We take a check on these claims to find out if this is a store which you should put your trust in.

Domain Name Information

The domain name records let us know that they have been registered since the year 2000.

registered in 2000

This not only confirms what they have claimed on their website but also shows that this pharmacy is more likely to be legit.

What is not so good to discover is that they are using domain name privacy to hide their contact information. This is something very common to less reputable scam pharmacies, so not something which is encouraging towards this store.

Business Profile

This pharmacy provides some contact information on their site. They have an address as well as phone and fax numbers to contact customer support.

phone and fax numbers, address

However, if you are considering paying a visit to this pharmacy it wouldn’t be a good idea. When we check their address it turns out that this is the address of a business services store which offers shipping, packaging and mailbox rental. This shows that this address is just a mailbox and not real office premises.

This means that we don’t know exactly where this business is really based. There is a business name found on the site; TCDS International LLC.

Regulatory Approvals

This pharmacy doesn’t have any regulatory seals on its home page that would show they are operating within regulation. We can check with the best known Canadian regulator to see if this is actually the case.

a valid memb er

They aren’t registered with CIPA and this could mean that your personal information isn’t as secure with this pharmacy as you would hope.

unapproved rating

When we look to LegitScript we see that they have a rating of unapproved. While this isn’t the lowest rating available, it does show that there could be some issues with this pharmacy.

Medications Sold

They claim to offer cheaper prices on brand and generic pills. When we look at what they are offering, the prices aren’t the cheapest online as they claim.

We also see that they aren’t only dispensing drugs from Canada as you might have imagined. They use fulfillment centers from around the world to source and dispatch their meds. They don’t give any information about these international centers and they only say that they are correctly registered in their own countries. We have no way of validating this claim, however.

This could mean that the drugs they sell through this pharmacy aren’t up to the high standards you would want your medication to be. This comes on top of the lack of any regulation of this pharmacy and does present a risk to customers.

They do require you to have a valid prescription when ordering meds from this pharmacy. This shows that they are following the conventions of the drug laws in Canada.

Payment and Shipping

They don’t accept insurance plans on this pharmacy. They will take payment using the following methods:

  • E-check
  • Money orders
  • Personal check
  • Credit cards

Shipping is charged at $9.95 for orders under $50 and free for orders over that value. They say that the majority of orders will arrive within 2 weeks. Reviews

This site provides a page for reviews. The customer testimonials are all positive as you might imagine and they seem to be from genuine customers of the store.

positive comments

A pharmacy is unlikely to post anything negative to their testimonial page, so don’t expect an unbiased view of the company here.

It would be better to find testimonials on an independent review site, but unfortunately, we haven’t been able to find any. This is strange given the claims of having filled over 1 million prescriptions and could indicate that this claim isn’t true.

While this pharmacy has been in business for a long time, we do find many problems. They lack any regulation and they are hiding who they are from customers. The use of a mailbox address leaves us uncertain who is really operating this store. We also have no idea where the pills are being dispatched from.
