Domain Name Information
When checking the domain details of this pharmacy we can see that their address has been registered since 2002.
This is a long time for an online pharmacy to have been in business and suggests that this is more likely to be a legit store.
There are a couple of addresses in the records. The registrant address is in Canada and the admin contact is in Panama.
This pharmacy is using a Canadian website address and is claiming to be a Canadian drugstore, so this Panama address is strange.
This pharmacy gives a couple of business names and addresses on the site. They use the business names “Farmacia” and “Candrug” with addresses in the UK and Panama.
However, when we check on the UK address, we can see that it belongs to a company formations business. This means that the address they give isn’t for offices where they operate from, instead, this is just used as a legal address for the business. It is possible that they don’t actually have any real business premises in the UK at all.
They don’t have a business address in Canada, only a pharmacy address. This address is also used for other Canadian pharmacies including CanDrug.com.
A couple of regulatory seals are displayed on this pharmacy. They provide the appearance that the store is a legit business which you can trust with your medical needs. They do offer a framework which the store is required to follow so that their customers are given a more safe experience.
The seals are from the Canadian regulatory associations CIPA and IPABC. IPABC is the International Pharmacy Association of British Columbia and means that this pharmacy is operating from the province of BC. CIPA is the Canadian International Pharmacy Association and only requires that the drugstore be based in Canada.
Both of these organizations require a few things from their members. This includes privacy policies, valid prescriptions and licensed pharmacists, among other rules.
When we check with these associations we can see that their membership to them is valid and they are legitimately displaying the seals.
Even though these regulatory association memberships are genuine, LegitScript has some big problems with the store. They give them their lowest rating of a rogue pharmacy. They consider them to be in breach of the law for where they sell their products to.
This pharmacy offers a wide range of drugs both over the counter and prescription meds. They sell generic as well as the more expensive brand name drugs.
Their prices aren’t the cheapest we find online, however, and this is despite them dispatching pills from many different worldwide locations. You may have been expecting the pills to only be dispensed from a Canadian pharmacy, but the drugs will come from other countries as well. These include:
- New Zealand
- The UK
They do let you know before ordering which country is involved in the processing of your order, and prices can vary depending on which country the pills come from.
Payment and Shipping
They accept payment using:
- Personal check
- International money orders
Shipping will cost $14 to the USA and Canada. Shipping to other countries will cost a minimum of $25. Delivery is expected to take between 4 and 18 business days depending on where they are dispatched.
Even though we have shown this pharmacy has been around for a very long time, it has been difficult to find many Medisave.ca reviews. What we have found seems mostly positive for the business. With testimonials from customers praising the business.
This comment seems to be from a genuine customer which even highlights some issues they’ve had with the pharmacy.
This online pharmacy gives the impression of being a Canadian store. While they do seem to dispense some of their products from a Canadian pharmacy the business itself seems to be based in Panama.
It isn’t all bad though as they do operate with regulation and require a valid prescription from their customers. They have also been in business for a long time and we haven’t found any negative feedback from customers.
